FAQ’s
What is your refund policy?
All orders placed through Wall Kandy are custom-made. Custom orders may take from 2 – 4 business days to manufacture before shipping. We do our absolute best to prevent problems by inspecting each wall tile before shipping. For this reason, we do not allow returns.
However, Wall Kandy does warrant our product for excellent workmanship so if there is a manufacturer defect with any product, you may return the product within 14 days for a full merchandise refund. We recommend that you track your shipment with your carrier or insure a safe return of your package to protect you from any loss or damage during shipment. All merchandise must be returned unopened and in its original packaging.
Please feel free to contact us via email with any other questions or concerns.
Does Wall Kandy take off the paint from the wall?
Occasionally, when removing the velcro off the wall, some of the paint may come off. The bond will become stronger as it adheres onto the wall for a longer time period. We recommend having some touch up paint on hand. (It couldn’t hurt!)
In order to avoid that from happening, follow these steps:
- First try the use of a putty knife or blade by gently attempting to slide the device underneath the velcro strips without damaging the painted walls.
- If that doesn’t work, try using a blow-dryer to heat the tape. You can alternate heat settings while doing so.
- Heating the velcro adhesive softens the tape and makes the velcro easy to remove. Try removing with the knife again. After applying the heat, you should be able to remove the velcro.
- Lastly, all you have left to do is clean the adhesive residue that remains on the wall. You can simply use an adhesive remover (such as Magic Goo Gone, Goof Off or Un-Du) with the use of a dry rag.
- Once you apply the remover with a few cautious strokes, you’re finished!
*Fancy Designs, LLC shall not be liable for any loss, damage, claim or expense resulting, directly or indirectly, from any use of the product, including but not limited to, paint alterations.
Does velcro really hold up the fabric décor tiles?
Absolutely. Wall Kandy is lightweight and the type of velcro we use will hold the tiles on the wall securely so you don’t have to worry about them falling off.
